Types of Tea

Discover a curated selection of premium teas — each with its own unique
flavor, origin, and benefits.

GREEN TEA

Green tea, also known as unoxidized tea, is made solely from the leaves of the camellia sinensis plant. The leaves are plucked, slightly withered, then immediately cooked to preserve the green quality and prevent oxidization.

BODY AND MIND TEAS

Tea has long been known to provide us with a lot of health benefits. From boosting immunity to feeling more energetic, around the world tea and herbal infusions are widely believed to be good for mind, body and even soul. Whether it be our physical, emotional, or mental health, tea lovers enjoy the ritual of brewing and sipping teas to feel relaxed and at their best.

BLACK TEA

Black tea is generally stronger in flavor than the less oxidized teas. Black tea retains its flavor for several years. Black tea contains caffeine and flavonoids and may offer modest cardiovascular benefits and improved alertness, but lacks strong evidence for most therapeutic uses, including cancer and diabetes prevention.

FRUIT BLEND TEAS

At the beginning of the 80’s, colored blends composed of pieces of fruit made their way into the tea shops. Without caffeine or bitter substances, the healthy, inexpensive and delicious beverages quickly conquered a new clientele. The main ingredients of a fruit tea blend are mild, sweet apple pieces, fruity rose hip peels and fresh, tangy hibiscus blossoms.

HERBAL TEAS

An herbal tea is an herbal or plant infusion and usually not made from the leaves of the tea bush. Herbal teas are prepared by combining hot water and fruits, leaves, roots or grains. The resulting drink can be served hot or cold.

ICED TEA

Our unique iced tea packs take all the mess out of making iced tea. Just insert the iced tea K cup into your Keurig or put our iced tea pack into a heat proof jug, add hot water and steep according to brewing instructions. Pour over ice and there you have it! Refreshing iced tea with a taste that is unbeatable for those hot summer days.

WHITE TEAS

White tea is a tea grown and harvested primarily in China. The name “white tea” derives from the fine silvery-white hairs on the unopened buds of the tea plant, which gives the plant a whitish appearance. The beverage itself is not white or colorless but pale yellow.
